Like the powder, each primer is carefully matched to individual loads, and specifically selected for it’s ability to quickly, completely, and reliably ignite the powder charge. American Gunner 12 Gauge Reduced Recoil is able to offer less recoil while still being optimized to cycle in most semi-automatic shotguns.
